Short and concrete: what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.
Who is responsible

What we collect
Without an account: a one way hash of your IP address, a browser identifier in a cookie, and whatever you post or vote on. With an account: your email address, name, profile photo if you add one, and the history of your posts, votes and payments.
Why
The IP hash and the cookie exist so that one person cannot cast a thousand votes, and to enforce rate limits against flooding. An account is needed for comments, payments and notifications. We do not profile you for ads and we do not sell data.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe Payments Europe. We never see or store your card number. We keep only the payment identifier, the amount and what it was for.
Visit statistics
We measure traffic with Umami, running on our own server in the European Union, with no third party involved. It stores no cookies and nothing else on your device, which is why we do not ask for analytics cookie consent. We collect the page address, where you came from, country, device type and browser. Your IP address is turned into a one way hash and is not stored. The basis is our legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), namely knowing how many people use the service. We do not profile, we do not link this to your account and we do not pass it to advertisers. You can object to this processing by writing to szymon@szymonlaskowski.pl.
How long
Content and votes stay until you delete your account or the post. IP hashes are deleted after ninety days. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can access, correct, delete, restrict and export your data. Write to szymon@szymonlaskowski.pl and we answer within thirty days. You can also complain to your national data protection authority.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies only: the voter identifier, the login session and the chosen country room. There are no advertising or cross site tracking cookies.
